1. What the Extension Does

"Set a Reminder" allows users to create reminders directly in Chrome and optionally synchronize them with their Google Calendar account.

2. Information We Collect

The Extension processes only the minimum data required for its functionality.

• Reminder data — reminder text, date, time, and completion status created by the user.
• Google account information — the user's Google email address and profile name/avatar for authentication and account display purposes.
• OAuth authorization tokens — secure Google authorization tokens required to access Google Calendar APIs.

The Extension does NOT collect:

• Passwords
• Payment information
• Browsing history
• Personal contacts
• Location data
• Health information
• Advertising identifiers

3. Google API Scopes We Use

The Extension requests the following Google OAuth scopes:

• https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar
  Used to create and manage a dedicated calendar for reminders, synchronize reminders, and allow the user to create, update, and delete reminder events in Google Calendar.
• https://www.googleapis.com/auth/userinfo.email
  Used to identify the signed-in Google account.
• https://www.googleapis.com/auth/userinfo.profile
  Used to display the user's Google profile name and avatar inside the Extension interface.

4. How User Data Is Used

User data is used exclusively to provide reminder and synchronization functionality.

We do NOT:

• Sell user data
• Share user data with advertisers
• Use user data for advertising or marketing
• Use Google user data to train AI or machine learning models
• Transfer Google user data to third parties

5. Data Storage

Reminder data is stored:

• Locally in the user's browser storage
• Inside the user's own Google Calendar account if synchronization is enabled

We do not operate servers that store user reminder data or Google account data.

6. Voice Input Feature

The Extension may optionally use the browser's native speech recognition functionality (Web Speech API) to allow voice input when creating reminders.

Voice recognition processing is performed by the browser and related platform services. We do not store, record, or transmit voice recordings to our own servers.

7. Google API Services User Data Policy

The Extension's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy , including the Limited Use requirements.

Google user data is used only to provide or improve user-facing features directly related to the Extension functionality.

8. Data Sharing

We do not share user data with third parties.

The only data transfers that occur are:

• Between the Extension and Google's official APIs required for synchronization and authentication.

9. Data Retention and Deletion

You can remove your data at any time by:

• Disconnecting your Google account from the Extension
• Deleting reminder events from Google Calendar
• Removing the Extension from Chrome

Locally stored data is removed when the Extension is uninstalled.

10. Security

We use industry-standard secure HTTPS/TLS connections when communicating with Google APIs. OAuth authentication is handled through Google's official OAuth system.

11. Children's Privacy

The Extension is not directed toward children under 13 years of age.
